Plot:- In the wake of a disaster, the tenants of an apartment building turn on one another in this thriller from director Xavier Gens. New York is hit by an unexpected nuclear attack, and Eva (Lauren German) and her husband Sam (Ivan Gonzalez) rush to the basement of their apartment block, believing the cellar is their best bet for safety. They soon discover the basement is the domain of building manager Mickey (Michael Biehn), who is a survivor of the 9/11 attacks and doesn't put much trust in anyone. Convinced venturing outside will kill them all, Mickey refuses to let anyone leave, and Eva and Sam are trapped with macho bully Josh (Milo Ventimigila), Josh's soft-spoken brother Adrien (Ashton Holmes), loudmouth Bobby (Michael Eklund), high-strung single mother Marilyn (Rosanna Arquette), Marilyn's daughter Wendy (Abbey Thickson), and an impatient man named Delvin (Courtney B. Vance). As the days in the basement turn to weeks and supplies of food and water run low, the neighbors become increasingly tense and violent; eventually, the men and women form cliques and turn against one another. The Divide received its world premiere at the 2011 South by Southwest Film Festival.
Plot :- Although Roger Corman narrowly managed to avoid self-mockery in his pulpy, flamboyant adaptations of Edgar Allan Poe tales, it appears that the director chose this opportunity to let loose with outright parody; the result is a wonderfully entertaining romp with tongue planted firmly in cheek. The first screen teaming of legendary horror stars Boris Karloff, Vincent Price, and Peter Lorre -- later billed as "The Triumvirate of Terror" -- this so-called "adaptation" uses Poe's most famous poem as a springboard for Grand Guignol comedy from scriptwriter Richard Matheson. Melancholy magician Erasmus Craven (Price), having recently relinquished his membership in the Brotherhood of Sorcerers after the apparent death of his wife Lenore (Hazel Court), is paid a visit by a foul-mouthed talking raven, claiming to be small-time wizard Adolphus Bedlo (Lorre). After some persuasion, Craven returns Bedlo to human form, reversing a spell placed by the evil Dr. Scarabus (Karloff), Craven's chief rival. After learning that a woman bearing a strong likeness to Lenore was seen in the Doctor's company, Craven accompanies Bedlo to Scarabus' castle, where the resulting battle of wills escalates into all-out magical warfare between the two embittered sorcerers. Corman and company relished the opportunity to poke fun at the staid Poe series, and the distinguished leads contribute to the spirit of fun by lampooning their own cinematic reputations. Fans of Jack Nicholson (who cut his acting teeth on this and other AIP productions) should enjoy his melodramatic performance here as Bedlo's straight-arrow son; Nicholson would later co-star with Karloff in Corman's The Terror, which was shot in two days using the same sets!

Plot :-There are a billion reasons for fans of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! to be happy today: Gary Sanchez Productions — a division of It’s Will Ferrell’s Comedy World, We just Live In It Inc. — announced that Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim’s new film has picked up a distributor and oodles of financing . So now it seems to be only a matter of time before Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie, which has already begun production, comes to a theater near you. I’m eager to see how/if the duo’s bizarro, ambitiously lo-fi, public-access-on-acid humor translates from 11-minute episodes on Adult Swim to the big screen, and curious to learn more about the plot: All we know is that our two dudes “get a billion dollars to make a movie, only to watch their dream run off course.” While I’m game for anything — if you watch Tim and Eric, don’t you have to be? — here are a few things I might hope to see. Do you know what happens when two guys watch a billion dollars go down the tubes? They experience massive stress and bleeding orifices among other health issues, requiring the care of a semi-licensed medical professional (as in John C. Reilly’s Dr. Steve Brule, ya dummy!). They also reach out to their friends, who band together to raise more money to put the boys back on track. This could very well happen in the form of a telethon (hosted by Weird Al’s Uncle Muscles, with special performances by James Quall, Pierre, Will Grello, a resurrected (again!) Casey Tatum, etc.). Said telethon could be sabotaged by an evil corporation named Cinco, which is planning to unveil their latest contraption (an aerial security system that combines the flying capability of a sparrow with the natural defense mechanism of a skunk…hmm) and for some flimsy reason doesn’t want Tim and Eric to release their movie. But what those sinister Cinco suits aren’t counting on is a sacrifice by Spagett, who uses the art of non-surprise in a shocking way, and the high-gear bravery of Bush and Ted, who crash the proceedings on their own crazy contraption: The recumbent bike. Bad news: They are shot 804 times by Cinco soldiers. Good news: They are nursed back to health on the spot — thanks to the two-armed huggy magic of The Snuggler, a.k.a. Tairy Greene, a.k.a. Zach Galifianakis — and quickly cuff the Cinco villains. As a feel-good bonus, this Story of the Century is broken by… Channel 5’s Only Married News Team, Jan and Wayne Skylar! Or not. That was just the first idea that popped into my head. It’s your turn. What do you want to see in this Tim and Eric movie, PopWatchers?

Plot :- The first trailer for Robert De Niro's new movie, Being Flynn, is now online. It's based on poet and playwright Nick Flynn's 2004 memoir Another Bullshit Night in Suck City, in which he chronicles his unexpected reunion with his estranged alcoholic father at a homeless shelter in Boston.
Being Flynn marks a return to more dramatic material for writer-director Paul Weitz, who earned an Academy Award nomination for his 2002 dramedy adaptation About a Boy, but then subsequently strayed into parody (American Dreamz), fantasy (Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant), and comedy (Little Fockers, also with De Niro). The movie does not yet have a release date, but it is aimed at a Spring 2012 opening.
Here's the synopsis of the movie:
Based on a true story, Being Flynn follows Nick Flynn (Paul Dano) who is shocked to have his eccentric and long-absent father, Jonathan (De Niro) reach out to him unexpectedly. Still feeling the loss of his mother (Julianne Moore) in the midst of starting a new relationship with Denise (Olivia Thirlby), the last person Nick wants to see is his father. But you can't outrun fate and slowly Nick comes to realize he has been given the chance to make a real future not only for himself, but for his struggling father too.
Plot:- The series focused on a group of police officers headquartered at the titular address. These officers were all young in age and had especially youthful appearances which allowed them to pass for teenagers. Their assignments generally consisted of undercover work in high schools or, less commonly, colleges, where they generally investigated drug trafficking and abuse. The show's plots covered typical issues of its time, including alcoholism, hate crimes, drug abuse, homophobia, AIDS, child abuse, and sexual promiscuity. Similarly, each problem was often solved by the end of the hour long show, giving an implicit moral about the impact of a particular activity. When the show originally aired, some episodes were followed immediately by public service announcements featuring cast members..

Frost is about to become Weston's one and only guest at the safe house, and the fledgling agent is determined to handle the situation like a true professional. But by selling U.S. secrets to countries like North Korea, Frost has made more than his fair share of enemies in high places, and shortly after he arrives at the safe house, all hell breaks loose. A small army of gunmen are determined to see Frost dead. Meanwhile, Weston will do everything in his power to protect Frost, regardless of his crimes. Now Weston's only hope for getting out of this alive is to find out who's gunning for them, and seek out someone he can trust before it's too late.

Plot :- Directing brothers Jay and Mark Duplass examine fate and family in the comedy Jeff, Who Lives at Home, starring Jason Segel as the title character, a slacker who still lives with his mother. He spends the vast majority of his time smoking pot and explaining how he's waiting to understand his own fate, using the film Signs as the model for how he takes in the world. His brother Pat (Ed Helms) is a salesman in a mid-life crisis having purchased a sweet new sports car over the objections of his wife (Judy Greer). After Jeff answers the phone and a voice demands to speak to "Kevin," the stoner believes this is the sign he's been waiting for. During the course of the day, Jeff and Pat will confront their issues with each other, while their long-suffering mother (Susan Sarandon) may find love for the first time since the death of her husband. Plot :- A handful of curious Brits become literal fish out of water as they become mixed up in the dream project of an eccentric sheikh in this satiric comedy. Dr. Alfred Jones (Ewan McGregor) is a scientist specializing in establishing fisheries who is muddling through a midlife crisis and a marriage that's going sour when he's approached by Patricia Maxwell (Kristin Scott Thomas) with an unusual proposition. Maxwell works for the Prime Minister of Yemen, and in tandem with a remarkably wealthy sheikh (Amr Waked), he wants to introduce sport fishing to the Middle East as a way to promote better international relations. Jones isn't interested at first, but between Maxwell's aggressive enthusiasm and the beauty of Harriet Chetwode-Talbot (Emily Blunt), a lovely businesswoman hired by the sheikh to make his dream a reality, he changes his mind and sets out to create a fully stocked lake in the midst of a desert. As Jones takes on a project that ranks somewhere between ridiculous and impossible, he also finds he's falling in love with Chetwode-Talbot, though the matter of him being married and her having a boyfriend (Tom Mison) makes things sticky. Based on the best selling novel by Paul Torday, Salmon Fishing In The Yemen received its world premiere at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival.
